Mgr. Viktor Dutko, PhD. CEO

Viktor has been in the field of HR and recruitment with international entities over twelve years primarily for production companies, customer support services and banking segment with direct responsibilities for team management. In his career he has built a solid network of talents across Central and Eastern Europe. Viktor has published a few articles talking about human resources practices and turbulence of regional employment market.

How did you get into the role of HR and staff selection?

Already as a volunteer in civic associations I created and led smaller work teams. I graduated with a university degree in the humanities and gained some skills through school of life and through my stays abroad. In 2008 I worked in the position of HR Manager, I managed all HR processes including recruitment for the production greenfield in Slovakia, and to this day I have successfully working in this segment. Recruitment has become for me a natural fusion of my personal preconditions, acquired knowledge, skills and determination. Working in recruitment I have an exciting opportunity to meet experts from various businesses and learn from them.

You had a rich decade of work experience in recruitment field. Which the best experiences do you remember?

I have to say that my whole life is Best at all whether around us or far away from us. I am a big fan of life and I thanks that I could have such a beautiful moments in my career. I look back fondly on the projects of global corporations in the bank field and IT for which I migrated processes from Moscow, Almaty, Krakow or Athens. A great chapter for me was also the automotive industry. I remotely led recruitment teams in the region of Eastern and Central Europe. Thanks to my language combinations, I was able to quickly understand the specifications of the labour market of individual countries or even small regions, and thus effectively secure new talent for the continuous production of individual factories and development centres. As a certified trainer, I had the opportunity to visit many European countries and in 2015 I had a chance to attend a business trip to the USA and Mexico, where I trained colleagues to our methodology and shared European best practices with them.

What led you to found V5 Consulting and what would you like to say with this brand?

At the beginning it was a desire to learn. Since 2004 I have been working with teams of people and ability to choose experts for my teams has made me to learn, travel and learn about the practices of targeted selection of experts in global companies in Europe, America and Australia. The variability of specifications of different countries and legislative norms is so great that it is downright unrealistic to be an expert on everything. V5 Consulting is the embodiment of my personal experience and success in recruiting across the region of the Visegrád Group and countries of Eastern Europe. The name V5 itself is an algorithm of the V4 countries (The Visegrád Group) and plus my name which also starts with the letter V. By means of my brand we provide all-embracing consulting and individual ways of identifying talents for the real needs of the customer.

How is V5 Consulting different from the massive competition of existing recruitment agencies in the market?

V5 Consulting is different thanks to its flexibility and targeted executive. V5 Consulting works on a project basis with a clear methodology, open communication. We do not generate full databases of so-called perfect candidates in wait and do not come up with virtual positions. We are real, we bring what the labour market creates and we open dialogue. V5 Consulting dominates mainly with its solutions, individual pro-customer care and professional efforts, the result of which is added value for our partners.

Who does V5 Consulting want to reach primarily?
